Uw Deelfiets collects information about you when you use our mobile applications, websites and other online products and services (collectively the "Services") and through other interactions and communications that you have with us. Uw Deelfiets is the trade name of Uw Deelfiets B.V., located in Hoofddorp with an office at Elisa van Calcarstraat 2. Uw Deelfiets can be reached at e-mail address info@uwdeelfiets.nl. Our Chamber of Commerce number is: 66505585. We rent Uw Deelfiets bikes for short and long term through our site / app.

Scope and application

This Privacy Statement ("Statement") applies to persons around the world who use our site / apps and our Services to require bicycle rentals or other on-demand services ("Users"). This Statement does not apply to information that we collect from or about our technicians, couriers, partner transportation companies or other persons who may use the Uw Deelfiets platform under license (collectively “Partners”).

Collecting of information

Information you provide to us

We collect information that you provide to us directly, such as when you create or change your account, look for a sharing bike, contact customer service, or otherwise communicate with us. This information includes: name, e-mail, telephone number, payment method, country of origin and other information that you provide.

Information we collect through your use of our services

When you use our Services, we collect information about you in the following general categories:

• Location information: When you use the Services for transportation, we collect location information about your journey. If you authorize the site / app to access location services through the consent system used by your mobile operating system (“platform”), we collect the exact location of your device when the app / site is open in the foreground or background. In addition, we use the technology in the lock to collect location data at set times.

• Transaction information: We collect transaction data related to your use of our Services, including the type of service requested, the date and time the service was provided, the amount charged, the distance traveled and other related transaction data. In addition, if someone uses a promotional code, we can link the name of the publisher / employer / company of that promotional code to that person.

• User and preference information: We collect information about how you and site visitors have contact with our Services, indicated preferences and chosen settings. In some cases we do this through the use of cookies, pixel tags and similar technologies that create and store unique identification codes. We only use functional cookies.

Information we get from other sources

We may also receive information from other sources and combine it with information we collect through our Services. For example:

• If you choose to link, create or log in to your Uw Deelfiets account with a payment provider or if you communicate with a separate app or website that uses our API (or whose API we use) we may provide information about you or receive your connections from that site or app.

 

Use of information

We may use the information we collect about you to:

• provide, maintain and improve our Services, including, for example, enabling payments, sending receipts, providing products and services (and sending related information, eg supporting the (anonymous) business invoices) developing new functions, providing customer service to Users, develop security functions, authenticate users and send product updates and administrative messages;

• perform internal work, including to prevent fraud and abuse of our Services; to resolve software bugs and operational issues; to perform data analysis, testing and research; and to track and analyze usage and activity trends;

• personalize and improve the Services, including to provide or recommend functions, content, social connections, referrals.
  
  

Uw Deelfiets will not use this information to send you messages that we think may be of interest to you, including information about products, services, promotions, news and events from Uw Deelfiets and other companies, if permitted and in accordance with applicable local legislation; and to process contests, sweepstakes or other promotional participation and to award related rewards;

We may transfer and process and store the information described in this Statement in other countries, some of which may have less protective data protection laws than the region in which you reside. If this is the case, we will take appropriate measures to protect your personal information in accordance with this Statement.

The exchange of information

We may exchange the information we collect about you as described in this Statement or as described at the time of collection or exchange, including as follows:

Via our Services: We can exchange your information:

• with the general public if you submit content to a public forum, such as blog comments, social media posts or other functions of our Services that can be seen by the general public;

• with third parties with whom we may share information from you, for example other apps or websites that integrate with our API or Services, or third parties with an API or Service with which we integrate; and

• with government agencies, research institutes and municipalities to improve bicycle policy.  

Other important exchange: We can exchange your information:

• with subsidiaries and affiliated entities of Your Partial Bicycle that provide services or perform data processing on our behalf, or for data centralization and / or logistical purposes;

• with sellers, consultants, marketing partners and other service providers who must have access to such information in order to perform work on our behalf;

• in response to a request for information by a competent authority if we believe that disclosure is in accordance with, or otherwise required by, applicable laws, regulations or legal proceedings;

• with law enforcement officials, government agencies or other third parties if we believe that your actions are not in accordance with our User Agreements, Terms of Service or Policies, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Your Partial Bike or others;

• in connection with or during negotiations on mergers, sale of business assets, consolidations or restructuring, financing or acquisitions of our entire company or part thereof by or in another company;

• if we inform you in another way and you agree to the exchange; and

• in an aggregated and / or anonymous form that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.

Functions for Social Sharing

The Services can integrate with social sharing functions and other related tools that allow you to share actions you take on our Services with other apps, sites or media and vice versa. Your use of these functions makes it possible to exchange information with your friends or the public, depending on the settings you agree with the social sharing service. Your choices

Account Information

You can correct your account information at any time by logging in to your account. If you want to delete your account, you can do this yourself in the app / site or e-mail us at info@uwdeelfiets.nl. Note that in some cases we may retain certain information about you as required by law or for legitimate business purposes to the extent permitted by law. For example, if you have an outstanding credit or outstanding debt in your account or if we believe you have committed fraud or violated our Terms, we may attempt to resolve the issue before we delete your information.

 

Access rights

Uw Deelfiets will comply with individual requests regarding access, correction and / or deletion of the personal data it stores, in accordance with applicable legislation.

 

Information about the location

We request permission for our app to collect the precise locations of your device through the consent system used by your mobile operating system. If you initially approve the collection of this information, you can disable it later by changing the location settings on your mobile device. This may limit your ability to use certain functions of our Services.

Promotional reporting

We choose not to send promotional messages. If you wish to receive promotional messages, you can register on our facebook platform. We can, however, send non-promotional messages, such as messages about your account, about Services you have requested, or about our ongoing business relationship.

 

Changes to the Declaration

We may change this Statement from time to time. If we make important changes to the way we treat your personal information, or to the Statement, we will notify you through the Services. Your further use of the Services after this announcement constitutes your approval of these changes.
